In doing so, she treads the fine line between 'something' and 'nothing' in her images.<br \/>\nHer work stands or falls with a high degree of precision, and she has understood this very well. Lacet is able to transform this tension into monumental images that are both exciting and aesthetically pleasing. Her work demonstrates a strong vision of where her own art is headed, as well as great perseverance and a focused approach in developing her work into what we have seen. The choice of presentation form also reflects a clear understanding of how her work can be viewed and the possibilities available. Compared to the work of her peers at all the academies, Yvonne Lacet\u2019s work clearly stood out as mature, bold, and distinctive.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"w-full md:w-1\/2 flex justify-end relative flex-wrap mb-8\">\n        <div class=\"w-full md:w-3\/4\">\n                <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n\n<section class=\"w-full flex flex-wrap relative two-columns-content bg-st-white\" data-bg-class=\"bg-st-white\" data-scroll data-scroll-repeat=\"true\" data-scroll-speed=\".1\">\n    <div class=\"w-full md:w-1\/2 mb-8\">\n                <h4 class=\"!mt-5\">Elzo Jo van Reenen<\/h4>\n                <p>Her installation \"Pole Position\" combines design, video, and photography to offer a glimpse into the world of pole dancing. Van Reenen herself took a pole dancing course and photographed a diary during the process. She also created portraits of others involved in the practice and produced a video in which she and her fellow students play the leading roles.<br \/>\nShe integrated all of this into a room, where she connected the various elements through an almost fashionable design.
